Spotify fait le bilan de son année 2017

Classement mondiale Spotify 2017 Marseille Paris
Partager

Daddy Yankee.

Created in 2006, the Swedish service still amazed us this year, by passing the bar of 60 million payment subscribers (only 10 millions for Deezer). Zoom in its ranking of the artists and the songs most streamed in 2017!

The artists most streamed

This year, Spotify reveals the ranking of the exclusively male artists! And it is not a real surprise that we find Ed Sheeran at the top of list. With more than 49 million monthly listeners this year, the artist deserves well his/her position of the global leader.

Behind him, Drake, who makes a record of more than 26 million listeners a month. Nevertheless, having used to be the big winner since 2015, the Canadian singer this time has been offered his crown, still keeping the second position.

The weekend let him be in the third position, the follow-up very closely to Kendrick Lamar and finally The Chainsmokers.

The most listened music

Without a great surprise, it is the famous song "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran which wins the prize of the song the most listened in the world by 2017. With more than 1.4 million listening times, the single also has made the record of the title most streamed since the creation of the platform in 2006.

But this top 5 would not have been able to exist in its title ranking which made us dance in all the summer: Despacito (the remix). The new version which welcomed the voice of Justin Bieber takes the second place by leaving behind her its original version by Luis Fonsi Ft. Daddy Yankee.

Finally, it is found out at the end of this ranking "Something Just like This" by The Chainsmokers and "I' m tea One" by DJ Khalid.

Needless to say to what extent the British singer Ed Sheeran clearly dominated the world of music in the year 2017. At the first place of the ranking of the Spotify artists most streamed, at the top of the most listened song and the winner of the top 5 of the albums most streamed with the opus "Divide", taken out on March 3rd this year.

A very nice selection of artists and songs, which seems to be willing to continue to tighten it up during 2018.
